Consignor Agreement
We accept clothing consignments by appointment only. We only take new toys – those can be dropped off at any time.
☺ Clothing: Bring us only your seasonal best and we will select the items we choose to sell. Please understand that we will not accept any items that are stained, torn, or excessively dated or worn. Any item that has been accepted for consignment, but later is found to be unsellable (e.g. stained, missing button, broken zipper) will be removed from the sales floor and donated or disposed of by Milk Money.
PLEASE – LIMIT OF 75 ITEMS PER VISIT! Once our consignors have had a chance to bring in their first rounds, we will schedule second appointments, space permitting.
Please don’t be offended by a “no thank you” – it could be a current overstock of a size or clothing type or items that simply do not sell well in our store. Please note: We do not accept the following brands: (unless new with tags): Babies R Us, Carters, Children’s Place, Crazy 8, First Years, Forever 21, H&M, Old Navy, Osh Kosh, Target (Circo, Cherokee, Mossimo, etc). PREFERRED BRANDS: Vineyard Vines, Nike, Patagonia, Crew Cuts, Gap, Hanna Andersson, Janie & Jack, Lilly Pulitzer, Mini Boden, Ralph Lauren, Under Armour, The North Face, Ugg, and boutique brands. Brands we take in limited quantities: Gymboree, Justice.
☺ Getting Paid: Milk Money alone sets the price for your items. You receive 40% of the selling price after the item has sold. You can check your account at myresaleweb.com. Please email us if you don’t know your consignor #. If you have money in your account, you can stop in any time for cash or email us if you’d like us to Venmo you or mail a check.
☺ Seasons: We divide each year into two seasons, Spring/Summer (February through July) and Fall/Winter (August through January).
☺ Markdowns: We will retain your items for the duration of the season unless we contact you to pick up. At the end of each selling season we will hold a 50% off sale. You still receive 40% of the sale price during the half price sale. On the final few days of the season we hold a markdown sale. On these days only, all proceeds go to Milk Money only. Please note: Milk Money retains the right to do markdowns throughout the season at our discretion. Non-seasonal clothing (e.g. cleats and dance shoes), as well as non-clothing items, are not marked down in the clearance sale and will not be included in the clearance sale. These items are carried over to the next season. Sale dates will be emailed and posted on social media.
☺ Donations: At the end of the clearance sale, all remaining items are donated by Milk Money. We donate to local charities that are very appreciative. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO HAVE YOUR ITEMS SOLD IN THE CLEARANCE SALES AND/OR DONATED, YOU MAY NOTIFY US VIA EMAIL AND WE WILL GATHER YOUR ITEMS AND LET YOU KNOW WHEN THEY ARE READY FOR PICKUP. THERE IS A $15 FEE FOR THIS SERVICE.
Funds in inactive accounts will be forfeited to the store after a period of 2 years. Any activity (bringing in new items or taking a payout) keeps the account active.
We pledge to do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for damage or loss.
